Rector's resolution on guidelines related to non-classroom final assessment examinations

Apart from the different guidelines, directions and recommendations stated in previous documents and agreements, and regarding the need to insist on certain aspects to avoid dysfunctions when taking non-classroom final assessment exams with the maximum guarantee for the teaching staff and the students, the rector decided to agree on a series of guidelines regarding the diversity of situations of the students, as well as the limitations that affect non-classroom exams and, fundamentally, their registration.

The document recommends flexibility and communication between the lecturers and the students to prepare the exams, as well as to avoid a high level of synchrony and surveillance. It also recommends the obligation to guarantee the fundamental right to personal data protection in the accreditive identification of students and registration of the exam, in order to guarantee the proper development and right to an assessment review. Last, action protocols are presented regarding potential technical situations during the exams, and these are related to exam review procedures, student requirements with specific needs and others derived from the health crisis.
