The UB opens centers and facilities to carry out research activities and other essential services
Once the flexibility measures for the restrictions of the state of alarm regarding universities, science and innovation have been approved, the University of Barcelona starts its Plan of end of lockdown by opening some centers, facilities and buildings to carry out research tasks and essential services that cannot be conducted from home. The rectorʼs resolution orders the partial opening, on Monday May 18, for the preparation, and Tuesday May 19, to offer access to the authorized staff, of the faculties of Biology, Earth Sciences, Pharmacy and Food Sciences (Diagonal and Torribera campuses), Physics, Geography and History, Medicine (Bellvitge and Clinic campuses), Psychology and Chemistry. It also includes the opening of the Scientific and Technological Centers (CCiTUB), the Registry Office of Pavelló Rosa, and the support offices for governing bodies in the Historical Building.
