Rector's office inaguration
Today, the inauguration of some changes in the Rectorʼs Office of the University of Barcelona took place. These changes affect four vice-rectorʼs offices: Academic Planning and Quality; Teaching, Outreach and Internationalization, and Students and Language Policy.
The vice-rectors that cease their position, who were thanked for their dedication, are Amelia Díaz, in charge of the Vice-rectorʼs Office for Academic Planning and Quality to date; Sílvia Burset, in charge of the Vice-retocrʼs Office for Teaching, and Àlex Aguilar, in charge of the Vice-rectorʼs Office for Outreach and Internationalization. The new person in charge of the Vice-rectorʼs Office for Academic Planning and Quality will be the former vice-rector for Students and Language Policy, Mercè Puig. The former rectorʼs delegate for internationalization, Bibiana Crespo, will now be the vice-rector for Internationalization.
Two new incorporations close the reorganization of this team: Gustavo A. Llorente, lecturer at the Department of Animal Biology, member of the Biodiversity Research Institute of the UB (IRBio), and dean of the Faculty of Biology from 2015 to 2019, will be in charge of the Vice-rectorʼs Office for Teaching. Maria Soler, lecturer at the Department of History and Archeology and member of the Institute for Research on Medieval Cultures (IRCVM) will now be vice-rector for Students and Language Policy.
