The UB Choir has been recently re-founded in order to come back fresh and renewed and willing to consolidate as a distinguished model in the music activity of the UB and active participation of the university life.

The UB Choir has been recently re-founded in order to come back fresh and renewed and willing to consolidate as a distinguished model in the music activity of the UB and active participation of the university life.
The new director of the choir, Cornelia Rupert, has organized the auditions in October in order to start rehearsals soon and prepare the Christmas concert. These auditions will last about one hour and a half and will take place in small groups of four and six people. Candidates have to prepare the piece A lʼhorta del meu pare, which will be sent by the director through email to those who fill in the registration for the auditions. Also, they have to read and prepare an expression activity with the other members of the group of candidates.
Once the choir is born, rehearsals will take place on Mondays, from 7.55 p.m. to 10.20 p.m., in the Historical Building of the UB. The musical repertoire will be based on great pieces for choirs and orchestra, and will include international a capella pieces, from different periods.
