The institutional welcome tests the students' wit
Like every year, the University of Barcelona welcomes the students in a fun and friendly way. This year, there is an activity to invite the students to take part in an escape room that will test their wit. The activity challenges the students to use their logic in order to solve several enigmas. Students can participate from September 13 to October 8, and it includes face-to-face and online tests.
Like every year, the University of Barcelona welcomes the students in a fun and friendly way. This year, there is an activity to invite the students to take part in an escape room that will test their wit. The activity challenges the students to use their logic in order to solve several enigmas. Students can participate from September 13 to October 8, and it includes face-to-face and online tests.
The game starts with a QR code which is in each centreʼs entrance door and in the screens of the faculties. This code takes the participants to the website of the activity, which features a presentation video of the escape room. The student has to select his or her faculty, and has to solve several tests and enigmas s/he will find in several physical supports, common in all centres, such as the turrets with three canvas in the corridors of the faculties or the vinyl in the doors of the library. Also, there will be online tests via the website of the game and social networks. If any user gets stuck at some point, s/he can use the hints in the SocUB app.
This game is free and students can take part in it whenever they want, there is no need to start and finish the game on the first day, but between September 13 and October 8 2021.
