Successful businesswoman and former student of the UB Anna Navarro will visit, on Wednesday, September 15, the Faculty of Economics and Business. She will do so to take part in the dialogue “Globalization and democracies of knowledge: the role of the university”. Other participants will be the minister for Research and Universities, Gemma Geis, and the lecturer of the Department of Economics of the UB Judit Vall. The director of Coordination and Communication at the Rectorʼs Office, Ander Errasti, will chair the debate, which will take place at 11:00 a.m., in the Sala de Graus room in the Faculty of Economics and Business. There is limited room capacity.

Anna Navarro (Olot, 1968) is the vice-president of the Department of Product, International Market and Globalization in Procore Technologies, the top 1 construction management platform worldwide. Graduated in English and German Philology at the UB, she has been living in Silicon Valley for 28 years. Before entering Procore Technologies, she worked for NetApp, the world leading company of data storage, where she held the position of vice-president for twelve years. The magazine CIO Look chose Navarro as the top businesswoman to admire in 2021. In 2020, she was also considered the top influential woman in technology by the magazine Analytics Insight.
