This holiday season, we meet again at the UB
This December, the University becomes a meeting point for celebration, a place with the light and joy of the holidays for the city. The lightening of sixteen Christmas trees, one per each UB centre, in the hall of the Historical Building, and the Christmas decorations have marked the beginning of the holidays at the University. These are the events to enjoy together and start the new year with culture and warmth from the university community.

Christmas concert. On Wednesday, December 15, the Christmas concert will be held for the members of the university community. After December 10, people can request the tickets to attend in this link.
There will be two more concerts on Thursday and Friday, December 16 and 17, at 8:00 p.m., open for the general audience. Tickets for both sessions will be available after Monday, December 13, in the Culture website. The concerts will take place in the Paranimph and will be brought by the Orchestra of the University of Barcelona, the UB Choir and Schola Cantorum.
Guided tours in the Historical Building. These allow you to enjoy the architectural value of this place and see the ornamented university headquarters during the holidays. The first tour took place on December 1. Upcoming tour dates are: Thursday 9 (7:00 p.m.); Friday 10 (6:00 p.m.) and Monday 20 (6:00 p.m.). Previous registration is required: visitesguiades@ub.edu.
Celebration on December 21. Tuesday, December 21 will be a day to celebrate at the UB. The Aula Magna of the Historical Building will host, at 11:00 a.m., the ceremony for the UB Medal to retired staff during 2019/2020.
