Statement by ACUP on the situation in Ukraine
Over the last hours we have learned that Russia, with the support from Belarus, started a large-scale military attack against Ukraine. We strongly condemn the use of military aggression as a tool for resolving territorial disputes, which is contrary to international law and human rights. We express the need to tackle and solve political problems using the democratic principles, dialogue and respect to the peoples and minorities.

We stand in support with the people of Ukraine, calling once more for the diplomatic pathway and dialogue, which must prevail at all times in international relations and coexistence between peoples.
