The jury, formed by lecturers of the faculty and external researchers, also awarded special mentions to Escenes de familia: l'herència i perdurar de la memòria, by Lúa Ortiz; Sonoritat/Sororitat, by Cloé Pérez Muñoz, and Locus amoenus Locus amoenus Locus amoenus Locus amoenus, by Samuel Álvarez García.

The selected pieces will be exhibited at the Vila Casas Foundation in the spring of 2023 for the public to see. These pieces have been selected for their originality, their interdisciplinary nature and for the quality and maturity they offer as representatives of emerging art. The repertoire is a good example of the artistic concerns of the current generation and presents a journey with its own contemporary languages.

This selection is proof that the UB is committed, year after year, to supporting the students and emerging artists trained at the Faculty of Fine Arts. The acquisition of these pieces for the Heritage Fund of the University gives visibility, access and recognition to recently graduated students and favours their insertion in the contemporary art market.
