Recogised research group by the Generalitat de Catalunya

The LMI (Learning, Media & Social Interactions) is a consolidated research group recognized by the Generalitat de Catalunya (2017 SGR 379). The group, formerly Interactive Media Lab, has a long history. It started in 1988 but as an independent group it was established in 2008 and was officially recognized in the 2009 call (2009 SGR 847) and 2014 (2014 SGR 604) calls.

It is a team specialized in research in the field of education and the media. The main lines of research are around:

· Digital audio communication

· Technology-enhanced training environments

· Learning assessment supported by technologies

· Digital literacy

· Metanarratives and audiovisual and multimedia syntax

· Diversity and social inclusion in media contexts

· Screens and childhood
