View mapThe 6th Spanish Conference on Input-Output Analysis, organized by the Sociedad Hispanoamericana de Análisis Input-Output (SHAIO), the Universitat de Barcelona (UB), the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona (UAB) and the Institut d’Estadística de Catalunya (Idescat), will be held in Barcelona on 7-9 September 2015.
During the conference three plenary sessions with distinguished speakers will take place.
- Monday, 7th September, 18:00: “Measuring the Economies of the World – YOU can be part of that journey” by Sanjiv Mahajan, Head of International Strategy and Coordination at Office for National Statistics (UK).
- Tuesday, 8th September, 12:00: Global income inequality and carbon footprints”, by Klaus Hubacek, Professor at University of Maryland (US).
- Wednesday, 9th September, 17:30: “Unraveling the heterogeneity of induced income impacts in input-output systems”, by Geoffrey JD Hewings, Director of REAL at University of Illinois (US).Illinois (US) and S
All the three lectures will take place at the Assembly Hall (“Sala d’actes”) of the Faculty of Economics and Business (UB), Avda. Diagonal, 690.
