Dramatist Marta Pazos participates in the ceremony of the 2nd edition of the Teatre Lliure - UB Awards

The academic opening ceremony of the CRIC Master's Program and the ceremony of awards of the 2nd edition of the Teatre Lliure - UB Awards will begin with the plenary lecture "Pálpito. Methodology of the invisible", given by the artist Marta Pazos. To continue, the second CRIC-Teatre Lliure-CBTBarcelona awards for best End-of-Degree paper and Master’s Thesis on contemporary theater will be presented. Finally, the book Understanding Precarious Lives. Empathy for the Criminal in Pornography and The Events by Carolina González, winner of the Premi Teatre Lliure in its first edition last year, will be presented.

The Teatre Lliure - UB Awards were born in March 2021 from the collaboration of the Faculty of Philology and Communication and the Teatre Lliure with the aim of promoting research on contemporary theater studies. This event counts with the support of the Vice-Rectorate for Research and the Faculty of Philology and Communication of the Universitat of Barcelona and ADHUC- Centre de Recerca, Teoria i Sexualitat.
