What are the aesthetic achievements of contemporary Romanian literature written by women? What poets and storytellers stand out today? How do they describe the former communist totalitarian regime and its most immediate reality? Marta Petreu, writer, professor of History of Romanian Philosophy at Babes - Bolyai University and editor-in-chief at the magazine Apostrof will participate, alongside Adina Mocanu (Universitat de Barcelona) and Xavier Montoliu Pauli (Institució de les Lletres Catalanes), in a discussion about the leading Romanian women writers of today. Petreu is a poet, prose writer and essayist free of any intellectual taboos, a consolidated voice and intellectual referent who successfully avoids any constraints to her aesthetic analysis and to the recovery of the literary and philosophical values of Romania. The event will be in Catalan, Spanish and Romanian.
