The Seminari Filosofia i Gènere, of the Consolidated Research Group Creació i Pensament de les Dones, is organizing, with the help of the research group "Filósofas del siglo XX. Maestros, vínculos y divergencias" and together with two other research groups from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, the Symposium "Pensar con las filósofas. Europa, política, violencia". The three research groups will elaborate on the topics of Europe, politics and violence, putting a special emphasis on the women philosophers' contributions to these issues. The participants include, amongst others, Fina Birulés, Carmen Revilla Guzmán and Rosa Rius Gatells, researchers at the Seminari Filosofia i Gènere, from the Universitat de Barcelona.
