The volume No es lo más natural: Escritos y trabajos de Octavi Comeron (1965-2013) gathers works and texts by the artist Octavi Comeron, which skillfully reflect on the relationship between art and its material conditions of production in the context of avanced capitalism. During the nineties and the noughties, Comeron configured a field of questions and proposals in relation to the role of art in the labor imaginary of post-Fordist knowledge societies; the spread of certain notions, such as productivity, in cultural processes; and the assumption of an idea of communality in order to give way to new social relationships, among others. This publication, edited by Joana Masó (Centre Dona i Literatura), Tere Badia (Hangar) and Jorge Luis Marzo (BAU), presents diverse essays by the editors, as well as José María Durán, Nicolas Malevé, Rubén Martínez, Ana Moreno, Anja Steidinger and Isidoro Valcárcel Medina. The editors and a large part of the book's collaborators will take part in the presentation.
