A critical edition by Ignasi-Xavier Adiego of Juli Vallmitjana's Teatro de gitanos y de la vida, with an edition and prologue by Joana Masó (ADHUC—Universitat de Barcelona) and translated by Marçal Font, will be presented at the Fundació Antoni Tàpies in Barcelona. The event will be led by Joana Masó; Pedro G. Romero, director of the Athenaica collection "Flamenco y cultura popular"; and editor Manuel Rosal. The presentation will close with a performance by El Niño de Elche. This event is co-organized with the Fundació Antoni Tàpies; the research project Noves visions de la comunitat / Noves identitats gitanes, híbrides i sexualitzades (Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad); and Athenaica.
