Georgina Rabassó wins the Rafael Patxot i Jubert Prize

Georgina Rabassó, researcher at the Seminari Filosofia i Gènere / ADHUCUniversitat de Barcelona, ​​has been awarded the Rafael Patxot i Jubert Prize, given by the Institut d'Estudis Catalans, for her doctoral thesis Subtilitates naturae. Continuïtats i ruptures a la cosmologia de Hildegarda de Bingen (1098-1179), supervised by Rosa Rius Gatell. This work on the scientific and philosophical aspects of Hildegard of Bingen's visions of the universe constitutes the first thesis in Catalan on this increasingly studied author, and the second at a state level. The award ceremony took place on Friday, April 20 2018 at the headquarters of the Institut d'Estudis Catalans within the framework of the Sant Jordi Awards. The work will be published by the Diputació de Barcelona in collaboration with the Consell Assessor de la Masia Mariona, the institution that created the Prize in 2015.
