Joana Masó (ADHUC-Universitat de Barcelona) has been awarded the Premi Ciutat de Barcelona d’Assaig, Humanitats i Història for the book Tosquelles. Curar les institucions (Arcàdia, 2021). The award has been given unanimously and recognizes this historical research of great relevance in dealing with mental suffering in contexts of political, cultural and social crisis. The research that has made the book possible, El llegat oblidat de Francesc Tosquelles, began in 2018 within the framework of ADHUC thanks to funding from the Fundació Privada Mir-Puig. The Premis Ciutat de Barcelona 2021 ceremony will take place at the Saló de Cent, at Ajuntament de Barcelona, on February 15, 2022.
