Objective
Analyzing the current situation in Catalonia on the gap between education and employment and the variation of occupational structure in recent years based on pre-existing statistical sources. Preparing an analysis of the current situation in order to contextualize the results of the different Papers and make recommendations for the enhancement of existing statistical information in this area and therefore the capacity of the Observatory to make proposals in order to improve the situation.
Methodology
Analysis of the education level of the population in Catalonia. Analysis of the elaboration of active policies in Catalonia. Analysis of the workplace evolution in the early 2000s. Analysis of under- and over-education in Catalonia and its effects. Replacement needs of the workforce in Catalonia.
