Arianna Cecconi

École nationale supérieure d’ architecture de Marseille.

She teaches anthropology à l’Ecole Nationale Superieure d’Architecture de Marseille, and is a researcher associated with the Norbert Elias Center, EHESS. Local reconciliation practices in post-war contexts, forms of re-elaboration of violence, migration processes and dreams are his main subjects of study. She throughout a trajectory of ethnographic research carried out in different places (Peruvian Andes, Spain and currently in France). In Peru, she was able to collaborate with members of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. In Spain, she is a member of the research project “All the numbers of the postwar representation in Ciudad Real” in collaboration with the UNED University of Madrid. In Switzerland she is a member of the scientific committee of the project “Fostering pluralistic memories and collective resilience in fragile transitional justice processes”. Swiss Program for Research on Global Issues for Development, Université de Lausanne. Currently in Marseille she works in collaboration with the «Sleep Center of the Hospital La Timone de Marseilla in a project about sleep and precariousness.
