Marta Bosch

   

 

    Assistant lecturer in the literature section of the English Philology Department at the Universitat de Barcelona where she has taught History and Culture of the United States and of the British Isles; literature from the 17th to the 21st century, and literary theory. Her doctoral thesis focuses on the representation of masculinities in the Arab-American literature written by female authors, in contrast to mainstream Western representations of Arab men. Bosch has published articles and given lectures on the work of authors such as Diana Abu-Jaber, Laila Halaby, Mohja Kahf, Alicia Erian, and Frances Kirallah-Noble and on contemporary representations of the male Arab in cinema and television.
