The site

The site of the Workshop, Hotel Balneari Platja de Coma-ruga, is located on one of Spain's most famous beaches of the Costa Daurada (Tarragona) region.

The Village of Coma-ruga (town of El Vendrell), 70 km south of Barcelona, provides safe and enjoyable environment for the Workshop.

Air and water temperature is expected to be within 23-28 °C during the day, and 20-25 °C at night.


Travel

Coma-ruga is located 60 km south of Barcelona International Airport and may be reached by several ways:

By train:

The best way to reach Coma-ruga from Barcelona International Airport is by train.

There is a train connection from the airport to Sants Estació in Barcelona (Rodalies Renfe R2Nord line).
Trains every 30 min, from 6:00 to 23:00.     Journey duration: 20min.

From Sants Estació, you must take a train (Rodalies RENFE, R2Sud line or R4 line),
to Sant Vicenç de Calders station.
Trains every 30 min, from 6:00 to 23:00.     Journey duration: 1 hour - 1h15min.   

Total price (from Airport to Sant Vicenç de Calders): about 6.15€ (single ticket, 6 zones)

The St. Vicenç de Calders train station is 15 min. away from the hotel on foot.

By Car:

If you come from the North (Barcelona):
Highway C-32, take exit "El Vendrell Oest / Coma-ruga / Roda de Barà" and follow directions to Coma-ruga, or
Highway AP-7, connection to C-32 at el Vendrell, and take exit "El Vendrell Oest / Coma-ruga" and follow directions to Coma-ruga.

If you come from the South (Tarragona):
Highway AP-7, connection to C-32 at el Vendrell, and take exit "El Vendrell Oest / Coma-ruga" and follow directions to Coma-ruga.


By Taxi:

The taxi ride between Barcelona International Airport and Coma-ruga takes approx. 1 hour and costs about 150€.
