I got my BA ("Llicenciatura") at the University of Barcelona in 1988, and my Ph.D. at the Linguistics and Philosophy Department of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1997. Since 2003, I am "professor titular" at the Philosophy department (Facultat de Filosofia) of the University of Barcelona. My research interests are in the Philosophy of Language, Semantics, the interaction Syntax/Semantics/Pragmatics and the Philosophy of Logic.
