Luis Guell Rojas graduated from the Universidad del Atlántico with a BSc in Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals. He obtained a Master degree in Biomedicine at the Universitat de Barcelona in 2008. Thus, he performed his Master thesis in Dr. Francisco Ciruela's lab working in the characterization of the orphan receptor GPR37 using FREET and BRET techniques.
