Generally speaking, only university degree holders can be admitted to UB-specific master’s degree courses, postgraduate diplomas and certificates of attainment, although the following cases may also apply:

• an applicant who does not have a university degree qualification may be admitted on the basis of a particularly strong curriculum and, upon successful completion of the course, such students are awarded a university extension qualification;
• in the case of certain courses, an applicant may be conditionally admitted if he or she is studying a higher education course within the Spanish education system and has already gained more than 90% of the credits required for a university degree qualification.
