Particle Physics Workshop at the UB

Tenth edition of the Particle Physics Workshop, an activity addressed to upper secondary students, organised within the international science dissemination project Hands on Particle Physics. The workshop, entitled "Descobrint la física de partícules amb l'LHC" (Discovering particle physics with the LHC), is divided intro three parts: first, UB researchers working at CERN give a lecture about particle physics; then, students analyse real data produced by the LHC (results are exchanged with other groups all over the world by means of teleconference; and finally, the studies taught at the Faculty of Physics are briefly described and students visit the laboratories.
