The study of tree rings (dendrochronology) is a discipline that analyzes the ecological processes with a yearly and seasonal resolution. It is a methodology that contributes to discover the frequency and intensity of several phenomena (volcanic eruptions, etc.) during modern ages. Teaching and research on dendrochronology will focus the new session to be held within the framework of the conference series that commemorates the fifty years of the old Department of Ecology of the University of Barcelona. This session, which includes an eco-coffee (11.30 a.m.), can be seen live in UBtv.
