FameLab is an international competition of scientific monologues held in over 25 worldwide countries. Its purpose is to create a pool of science communicators with a desire to explain their work to the society in a funny and rigorous way through three-minute monologues.  The competition is open to students, researchers or science professionals resident in Spain until 3 February. Participants must submit a video in which they should give a talk on a scientific subject that captivates the audience.

The PhD student at the Faculty of Biology of the UB, Ricardo Moure, the winner of last yearʼs edition, pronounces the talk “Yo participé en FameLab” that describes his experience. Then, the actress and monologist Belén Rubio gives a master class about monologue writing and interpretation. And, finally, participants can practice their speaking abilities by presenting their monologues. Belén Rubio and Ricardo Moure will help them to improve contents and interpretation.

The workshop is free of charge but seats are limited. Please confirm your attendance:
