Roser Aguilar

Film director and screenwriter

Roser Aguilar was born in Barcelona in 1971.

She earned a degree in Cinema and Audiovisual Media from ESCAC (Catalan Centre for Advanced Studies in Cinema and Audiovisual Media) in its first graduating class. She also has a degree in Communication Sciences from the UAB. 

In 2008, she received the City of Barcelona Prize in the audiovisual category anad the Sant Jordi Award for best newcomer director for her film Lo mejor de mi, produced by Escándalo Films (a production company connected to ESCAC). She is also the recipient of other international prizes.
