The School of Modern Languages (EIM)
The UB School of Modern Languages (EIM) offers students the chance to study up to 15 different languages from beginner to advanced level at any UB campus and at any time of the year, with a selection of different timetables available. Around 4,500 students sign up every year on either ordinary, specific or examination preparation courses offered by the EIM.

The Language Services (SL)
The UB Language Services (SL) organizes Catalan courses for more than 2,500 students at lower levels - addressed to students from outside Catalonia who come to study at the UB or who are are part of an exchange program - or more advanced and specific levels for those interested in improving their knowledge of the Catalan language.

The Institute of Hispanic Studies
The UB Institute of Hispanic Studies provides classes in Spanish as a foreign language and other specific courses, in addition to preparation courses and examinations s leading to the Diploma in Spanish as a Foreign Language.
