Perception, Attention & Representation Lab

We study the mechanisms underlying perception, attention and representation in healthy adults, infants, and neurologic/psychiatric patients. We aim at developing new tools to detect subtle deficits in these brain functions in several clinical and pre-clinical populations such as children with attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), schizophrenia, right parietal lesions, and adults with pre-clinical Alzheimer's disease (AD).

Our methodological approaches are mostly based on behavioural measures (e.g., reaction times) and psychophysics, but also include event-related potentials and neuropsychology.
