- Teachers of non-university educational levels who teach in public centres and services or in private centres supported by public funds in Catalonia and who want to obtain the C1 level in teaching digital competence as established in the Framework of Reference for Digital Teaching Competence (MRCDD) with a special emphasis on computational thinking.
- Teachers who already play a relevant role in their educational centre, carrying out coordination tasks both in the design and in the application and evaluation of the centre's digital plan.
To make satisfactory progress through the course, students will require previous professional experience related to digital technology and an interest in computational thinking.
The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
This project is part of the actions proposed by the University of Barcelona within the call for subsidies for digital promotion in education proposed by the Catalan Ministry of Education to follow the path marked by the Digital Education Plan of Catalonia (PEDC) through Next Generation EU Funds.
Main objectives:
- To acquire the capacity to integrate digital technologies into teaching with a special emphasis on computational thinking.
- To develop research and innovation within the area of computational thinking, addressing the use of digital technologies in centres of education.
- To generate documented evidence of teaching digital skills and computational thinking to accredit achievement of level C1.
