Successful Reception of the “Advances in Auditory Neuroscience and Audiology” Conference in Barcelona

The Aula Magna of the University of Barcelona hosted today the Conference on Recent Advances in Auditory Neuroscience and Audiology, an event that gathered researchers, professionals, and students eager to explore the latest breakthroughs in the field.

The meeting, organized with the support of the Fundación Pedro Salesa Cabo, was a resounding success and received excellent feedback from attendees.

Dr. Rafael Delgado (University of Miami) opened the scientific agenda by presenting the most recent technological advances in brain auditory evoked potential and innovative signal averaging techniques.

Later in the morning, Dr. Carles Escera (University of Barcelona), addressed the role of early electrophysiological auditory biomarkers in understanding delays in language acquisition.

The program continued with Dr. Axelle Calcus (Université Libre de Bruxelles), who highlighted adolescence as a second sensitive period for auditory development, providing fresh insights into a crucial stage for intervention.

The conference concluded with a networking lunch and was very well received by participants, highlighting the relevance of current advances in auditory neuroscience and audiology.
