I studied Psychology at Universidad Autónoma de Chile and later continued my postgraduate training in the Master’s Program in Social Psychology, with a specialization in Social Research Methodology, at Universidad de Talca. During this period, I developed an interest in the study of personality and trauma-related responses, particularly from a neurophysiological perspective using electroencephalography. This line of research guided my Master’s thesis.
In 2023, I began my PhD in Psychology at Universidad de Talca. My current research focuses on the study of borderline personality traits, their relationship with cognitive processes, and their neurophysiological correlates.
Alongside my research training, I have worked as a lecturer in the Psychology program at Universidad Santo Tomás, Talca campus, teaching courses such as Psychometrics, Developmental Psychology, Educational Psychology Assessment, and Educational Intervention. I have also supervised undergraduate theses in Psychology and Occupational Therapy at Universidad de Talca and Universidad Santo Tomás.
My academic interests focus on the study of personality, trauma-related responses, cognitive flexibility, and the use of electroencephalography and event-related potentials to understand psychological processes from a neurophysiological perspective.
