Research interests
I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Brainlab, working with Iria San Miguel and Marc Via on understanding the role of movements in auditory perception. I also work as a lecturer, teaching Psychophysiology in the undergraduate Psychology programme at the University of Barcelona. I began my academic career as a linguist in my home country, Germany, but after my B.A. I moved to Barcelona to study cognition. I have two master’s degrees (from the Pompeu Fabra University and the University of Barcelona) and a PhD in Neuroscience, which I completed under the supervision of Iria San Miguel and Jordi Costa Faidella at the Brainlab. As a researcher, I am interested in the intersection of perception, imagination, and memory. I have also worked as a German teacher, and I love talking about grammar.
