Research Interests
My main topic of interest is language learning and language disorders. Specifically, I focus on identifying brain regions related to different language-related processes. I’m also interested in studying brain-damaged patients such as post-stroke aphasics and trying to understand how the brain is able to recover or adapt to these lesions. In order to achieve these objectives, we use neuroimaging techniques such as Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI) or functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI).
