8th EDITION OF THE UBZURICH CHALLENGE PROGRAM

On February 17, a new edition of the UBZurich Challenge program was launched in which students of an Official Master's Degree in Actuarial and Financial Sciences in Spain have the opportunity to participate in a business case study and, in this way, apply their skills to a real-world problem, tutored by professionals from Zurich Spain. Thirty-four students from four different universities are participating in this year's edition, grouped into seven teams.

The business case of the 8th edition of the Challenge program is entitled "Home insurance: new challenges and trends in a changing and uncertain environment". The team of tutors for this edition is made up of Alex Aguyé, Beatriz Toda, Francesc Albanell, Laura Blanco and Juan Manuel Manicone, experts in the Personal Lines area of Zurich Spain, who will guide and assist the participants for four weeks. The participating teams will work on the case study during this time and will present their results at the UBZurich Actuarial Day, which in this edition will be in telematic format on March 25 (provisional date).
