Post-graduate in Data Analytics for Social Science

June 3 marked the end of the postgraduate course on Data Analytics for Social Science (DASS organized by RISKCENTER and with the collaboration of the UB-Zurich Chai. This degree responds to a growing demand for professionals with training in quantitative methods for social sciences and with high capacities to analyse massive data. This specialization course aims to provide professionals, researchers and students from the social sciences with the knowledge required to manage and model large volumes of data, to interpret the results rigorously, and to draw accurate conclusions. Among the students, many are actuaries, whose professional field has traditionally required managing large databases. The objective of DASS is to improving efficiency, both for obtaining relevant information and for handling big data.

For all those interested, the next edition will start in January 2022.
