Targeted Protein Degradation and Drug Discovery
The laboratory led by Dr Galdeano is interested in expanding the druggable proteome since most of proteins are still today considered undruggable for conventional drug discovery approaches.
They strongly believe in targeted protein degradation to find new therapeutic tools to target these so-called ‘undrugabble proteins’. In parallel, they are developing several research programs with the aim to develop novel therapies for unmet medical needs.
To achieve this objective they employ a multidisciplinary approach that combines biophysics, medicinal chemistry, molecular and cell biology and computational chemistry.
