Advanced Studies in Artistic Productions (EAPA) is a doctoral program offered from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Barcelona with two lines of research : Art in the digital age and Research in image and Design .
The program provides advanced training in the field of artistic production, seeking innovation and academic excellence, combining creation and research with the ability to generate own knowledge.
The main activity of the doctoral student consists of the development and defense of an original and innovative research work in a specific area of the artistic production . The program enables the student to develop this research that will be specified in the preparation and defense of the doctoral thesis. A thesis that can emphasize the theory and history , on the artistic praxis or in both aspects at the same time.
Throughout the program, doctoral students participate in various activities, such as seminars, conferences and workshops, which complement their training.
