Communication and the Culture Industry

What you will learn

In this bachelor’s degree, you will first acquire cross-disciplinary training in social sciences, arts, humanities and communication technologies. In this way, you will strengthen your knowledge of the theoretical and practical bases to further the study and practice of communication, on the one hand, and the multidisciplinary knowledge of cultural industries (cinema, performing arts, sound industry, etc.), on the other.

In addition, you will acquire both effective practical experience, thanks to external placements, and a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter through the degree’s final project.

What you will need

  • Receptive and productive language skills and ability in oral and written self-expression.
  • Critical reasoning skills and the ability to summarize and analyse information.

  • Interest in language, literature, the visual arts, and audiovisual and multimedia.
  • Interest in the field of mass communication.
  • Knowledge of literature and of foreign languages; knowledge of the arts; user¿s level computer skills.
