Environmental Sciences |
The bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences at the University of Barcelona offers students the training required to contribute to solve the environmental problems of today's societies with rigour, creativity, social responsibility and ethical commitment. This course of studies equips future practitioners with a highly practical skill set and fosters a strong commitment to sustainable development goals. Future graduates complete socially-committed projects through service learning methods. This is the only course available in the area with training in environmental education.
The general profile of the degree is aimed at the training of professionals with a multidisciplinary and global vision of the environment, using the lens of various fields of knowledge, and a specific orientation towards the conservation and management of the environment and natural resources, environmental management in companies and organizations, and environmental quality in relation to the health of ecosystems, which include people.
Successfully completed school leaver studies in subjects of science and technology, especially biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics.
