Instructions for Course Selection

Course List for the 2025–2026 Academic Year

Review Course Availability

Below you will find important guidelines and information for selecting your courses.

Final course selection and pre-enrollment will take place from July 22nd to 24th. Be sure to review the following instructions carefully to ensure a smooth and successful course selection process.

  • Ensure the course you choose is offered during the semester you’ve been accepted for.
  • If attending for the whole academic year, distribute your courses evenly across semesters.

Check the Language of Instruction

  • The course language is listed in the relevant column.
  • If multiple languages are listed, it means different groups teach in different languages (e.g., English, Spanish, Catalan, or a mix). Verify which group offers your preferred language.

View the Course Schedule

  • Click the “schedule” link to access detailed information, including group options, class times, professor names, classrooms, and the language of instruction.
  • Write down your schedule to avoid overlaps.

Select Courses Wisely

  • Ensure no scheduling conflicts.
  • Double-check the group, language, and other details before finalizing your selection.
  • Changes after registration will be very limited as most courses will be full by then.

Enrollment Timeline

  • First-term and annual students register in July.
  • Second-term students register in January.

Special Notes on the Teaching Language

  • Some courses have groups labeled 'To Be Determined' under the language of instruction. This means the teaching language has not yet been confirmed. Please do not select these groups. There are only a few of them.
  • The language of instruction may be updated before the final enrollment period through the schedule link. If it remains unconfirmed, please do not enroll in those courses. We will continue to update the teaching language information regularly for your convenience.

For any questions, contact us at incoming.fee@ub.edu.

Make sure that you meet the requirements or have sufficient knowledge to take the courses you choose.

Don't enroll the same courses with different difficulty levels in the same semester. If you do so, you will only be enrolled in the course with a lesser level. For example, if you choose Macroeconomics IV and Macroeconomics III for the first semester, we will only enroll you to Macroeconomics III.

Once you have entered in the ‘’Schedule’’ link, you have to consider that groups Z and Y are not offered to exchange students as these groups are for students who repeat the course or do a double degree.

The semester students are allowed to choose MAXIMUM 5 courses in the online enrolment, which will provide them 30 ECTS credits. The annual students are allowed to choose MAXIMUM 10 courses in the online enrolment, which will provide them 60 ECTS credits. Although it is not recommended, if the student needs to enroll up to 6 courses per semester, this option will be evaluated in the modification period that will take place after the beginning of the semester
