Learning and teaching pragmatics in EFL contexts Task-based Language Teaching (TBLT)

Júlia Barón is a Serra Húnter Fellow in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures and English Studies at the University of Barcelona (UB). 

She’s currently the coordinator of the Applied Linguistics research strand of the Ph.D. Programs Linguistic, Literary and Cultural Studies and Cognitive Science and Language (UB). 

Her main research interests lie within the learning and teaching pragmatics in EFL contexts, Task-based Language Teaching (TBLT), and early language acquisition. She’s also the president of the International Association of Teaching Pragmatics (ITAP) whose aim is to bring together research and teaching practices together within the field of pragmatics.
