Carles Rius

Carles Rius Santamaria is a Doctor in Philosophy, with a thesis on the relationship between the work of Antoni Gaudí and Germanic thought. He has been a professor at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and is currently a professor at the Faculty of Philosophy of the Universitat de Barcelona, where he teaches classes in Aesthetics, Art Theory, Ethics and Political Philosophy, at undergraduate and master’s level. He has published several books and articles in national and international magazines, and has translated the work of Schelling. He has taught at: Universität Graz (2022), Universität Leipzig (2023), Freie Universität Berlin (2024), Universität Mannheim (2025), and Rheinische Friedrisch-Wilhelms Universität Bonn (2025).
