I received a degree in Electronic Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino and then a PhD in Philosophy from the Università di Torino. I taught “History of Film and Film Criticism” at Università del Piemonte Orientale and "Philosophy of Engineering" at Politecnico di Torino. I was awarded a Fellowship in Bonn (Käte Hamburger Kolleg), and then a Fellowship in Paris (FMSH – Gerda Henkel Stiftung). I was visiting researcher at Institut Jean Nicod in Paris. I am currently Juan de la Cierva Postdoctoral Fellow at LOGOS Research Group in Analytic Philosophy, Universitat de Barcelona. I work on philosophical issues concerning fiction and depiction. My primary area of research is philosophy of film.
