Short bio

In 2014 I graduated in Psychology from the University of Oviedo and in 2016 I obtained the Master in General Health Psychology from the University of Barcelona. Since the master's degree I am a pre-doctoral researcher and teacher in training thanks to the F.P.U program of the Ministry of Education. I currently carry out research in agreement with the University of Barcelona and the group of Severe Mental Disorder of the Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu. I teach several subjects within the Bachelor’s in Psychology of the University of Barcelona. My project is about the analysis of the construction of self and significant others of people suffering psychotic disorders, for which I use is the Repertory Grid Technique as the main technique. My research interests are focused on the study of severe mental illness, esentially psychotic disorders, both in their psychosocial basis and in their psychological treatment, in addition to the study of the impact of mental health stigma and interventions to reduce it.
