Laboratory technical contract

Dr. Mercedes Ricote offers a laboratory technician contract for her new laboratory at the CNB-CSIC (https://www.cnb.csic.es). The hired person will provide the necessary technical support for the development of the group’s research lines, as well as help in its logistics management (placement of orders, stock control, preparation of reagents, etc.)
Essential requirements:
- Higher degree Vocational Training Degree in the area of life sciences.
- Previous experience in research centers.
- Certification for carrying out animal experimentation.
- English skills.
Required experience:
- Management of colonies of experimental animals, as well as carrying out experimental procedures (surgeries, bone marrow transplant, etc.)
- Molecular biology (genotyping, PCR, DNA extraction, etc.)
- Cell cultures (isolations of primary cells and maintenance of established cell lines)
- Flow cytometry
- Experience in the logistics organization of a research laboratory (orders, stock control, reagent preparation, etc.)
