¿Qué es una tesis de máster? La tesis de máster es un trabajo de investigación original escrito bajo la dirección de un asesor científico experimentado. Todos los estudiantes realizarán una tesis de máster o Trabajo Final de Máster-TFM (30 ECTS). La tesis generalmente se basa en un proyecto de investigación experimental llevado a cabo en uno de los grupos de investigación que constan en la lista de esta página web. Una vez finalizado el master, los estudiantes pueden estar interesados en seguir investigando, por ejemplo, en un programa de doctorado (PhD), o como investigador en hospitales o institutos de investigación.

¿Cómo hacer una tesis de máster? Durante el trabajo de investigación aprenderás cómo planificar un proyecto de investigación, elegir métodos adecuados para realizar los experimentos y analizar los resultados. Escribirás tu tesis como si fuera una publicación científica, describiendo críticamente las observaciones, contemplando y discutiendo tus resultados en el contexto de la literatura científica previa sobre el tema.  En la tesis escrita, se espera que demuestres que eres capaz de pensar científicamente, que te has familiarizado con la metodología y con el tema de tu investigación. La tesis escrita es un ejercicio muy importante para desarrollar habilidades en la gestión de proyectos y la comunicación científica escrita.

Verás un breve título del trabajo, un enlace a la página web del grupo de investigación y el nombre del supervisor. Si decides unirte a ese grupo para tu tesis de maestría, escribe un correo electrónico directamente al supervisor.
