Departmental Sections

The current department of Biology, Health and Environment is the result of the reform process of academic structures and administrative organizations of the University of Barcelona, ​​approved by the Government Council on April 20, 2015. In this framework of reforms, on October 14th, 2015, the Faculty of Pharmacy Board approved the merger of the former departments of Sanitary Microbiology and Parasitology, and Natural Products, Plant Biology, and Soil Science, into the new department (BSMA).
